Recently one of my gorgeous Brides, Emma, married her beau Greg at the breathtaking Hanbury Manor.
“You had me at Game Of Thrones”
Emma and Greg found each other while both working at Somerset House in Central London.
Their connection first blossomed through a shared love for the hit TV show ‘Game of Thrones.’
Thankfully though, their wedding did not end up like any wedding from the show!
This shared interest sparked the start of their love story and the rest, as they say, became history.
Greg proposed to Emma during a tranquil getaway to St Lucia in March 2022, amidst the stunning backdrop of Rodney Bay.
Emma’s Dreamy Stella York Wedding Dress
Emma wore a Stella York wedding dress which she customised with our in house designer, creating a boat neckline that exudes understated elegance.
The dress boasted pockets and a short train; its beauty accentuated by delicate buttons that trailed down the back of the dress.
Emma also wore a pearl headband which was the cherry on top of a breathtaking bridal ensemble!
Greg complemented Emma's beauty in a three-piece navy suit from Antique Rogue, paired with brown brogues and personalised cufflinks.
The perfect venue
Emma and Greg chose The Summer House at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Hertfordshire. The manor was everything the couple was looking for; an airy and light open space overlooking blooming gardens.
Personal touches and heartfelt gestures
Greg and Emma honored his Mother at the ceremony by donating to Alzheimer’s Research UK on behalf of the guests and had little cards printed on the day to honor her strength.
Emma showed her artistic flair by hand drawing a decorative flower border for the table plan and name cards. The team at Coral and Blue Events then arranged the names and created a timeline in gold for the table plan.
Capturing Moments, Creating Memories
The day was everything Emma and Grey had hoped for. A custom-made photo booth and a Polaroid camera added a playful touch to the day as members gathered for a photo-op!
Guests were also able to leave a heartfelt message in a memory book to celebrate Emma and Greg’s love and commemorate a day they’ll remember forever.
Even the rain couldn't dampen the spirits as the talented photographer, Sarah, captured all the stunning moments under umbrellas.
